I've been trying to learn more about backing up some of my DVD movies. I've seen the word "coaster" mentioned a lot and I don't know what it is. Is it good or bad? I've had Verbatim blanks finalize without writing the disc. I'm sure that's my fault for not really knowing what I'm doing. Thanks
Use Princo dye disks and you will find out ! A coaster is definitely BAD, there is nothing good about them at all. They just sit there.... staring at you.... teasing you... winding you up... making you angry,..frustrated...ready to kill..or mame... They are basically disks that do not burn correctly and are thus useless, garbage, lower than snakes poo, hideous..etc etc etc.
A 'coaster' is a ruined disk from a failed burn that isn't good for anything but to be used as a 'coaster'.
A coaster is a beer matt... plain and simple (j.k.) It's exactly what -brian100- and -y2ken- And also what I said, HA!
OH yeah.. you might have alot of beer's. So have fun and if you get to wasted then COASTER your way ta bed. No but really, if you need any help getting started then you came to the best place on earth, just ask away and you shall receive.
We really should come up with a better name for dead disks. They really make a shitty coaster. They don't absorb worth beans and any moisture goes right through that little hole in the center, or runs off the sides. Trust me, lol
They make great targets for pistol shooting - except when I actually shoot straight and hit the middle, no reaction!
