I was wondering what a good quality is for a video that is going to be played on the tv through the connecting cord? Please let me know. If it makes a difference i have a 60 inch tv... although i would probably be playing it on smaller.

what you gonna use to play it with?, ipod? pmp? apple tv? i know videos converted for the 5 gen video ipod are scale up perfectly on a 55'' inch rear progection tv, what i mean scale up, when they are play on tv theres no degradation on the quality. if you start with a good quality video and the system doing the encoding is fast enought.
