You may have seen from another post that I can't get my Dell Dimension E510 with XP to boot after trying just about everything. But if it means anything, my wife said that when she returned after being away from the computer, it was locked up, and the clock in the lower right showed about 20 minutes behind. Plus, the only error I get in one scan is System Timer Error Code: 654c:041c Message: Channel 2 is not operating correctly. No periodic ticks were generated. The realtime clock is not functioning. So do I have a hardware problem? I tried a new battery but no change. Thanks for any help. Tom
