What is current advice re printing on DVD's

    A couple of years ago it seemed to be a no/no to put labels on DVD's
    and printing was also considered dubious.
    Could somebody kindly advise me as to the current situation and also
    media reccomendations.

    paper labels are a no no

    ink jets printing is fine Espon R-200 or 300 are the best

    and Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim is the best out there

    This is an example of my printers capabilities. I use ink jet printable Verbatim discs, the image is from www.cdcovers.cc. The printing takes around 30seconds and about 1 minute to completely dry.

    The Epson R220 and R320 are out now, they are cheap aswell : )

    there is only really 2 choices: the ink type used by inkjet printers that print to the printable discs or the lightscribe ones where the burner etches an image to the disc.

    There is another type coming out soon.
