been reading on this forum members telling others to defragg there computer ! so you get better quality dvd picture when you burn ! what does this do ? how do you do it in a step by step guide! and does it work for everyone ! thanks in advance !
Defragging is like rearranging files, when a PC because fragmented it will run slow because the files are not sorted and it becomes slower because the PC has to look in different places for the files, defragging sorts them into the best possible order for faster access, Windows has a inbuilt defragger but i would not touch that one, download Diskeeper as it is one of the best out there. Just download Diskeeper and run it, Note* Diskeeper is not free but if i remember right you get a 30 trial. http://www.diskeeper.com/defrag.asp

The main reason i use Diskeeper is that it allows the user to increase the mtf usage, am not sure that the M$ one does.
