What is Nero Digital Format

    Can anyone tell me what is Nero Digital in the new version of Nero? Is this high end quality for audio and video to be played for dvd players? Thanks in advance for any information.

    Nero Digital is an variation of the MPEG4 format from what I understand. Something similar to Divx.

    If this is similar to Divx, then it's not playable in a stand alone dvd player?

    There are some DVD players that can play Divx but they are few and far between. The only one I can think of is made by a company called KISS.

    I'm not very knowledgable about MPEG4 for I can't really say if Nero Digital can be played with the Divx codecs. If you have more questions about MPEG4 you should try our Divx forum :)
