   It means that you can later on, by using a microphone, record an audio track to replace the one that you recorded when you shot the video.

   Or even better, add audio track ontop of the original track. This function eliminates the question sometimes raised when viewing "wish I said that at that point"_X_X_X_X_X_[small]There must be an easy way to do this..[/small]
