ive seen people with tb hdd.i know what gb is.i have a 160 gb hdd myself.is tb faster or biggr or what?i dont mean to sound stupid but i have not seen these in any stores before.
1 terabyte == 1,024 gigabytes == 1,048,576 megabytes etc.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terabyte Every now and then when people drool over such large storage spaces and someone then asks the usual question "what do you need that amount of storage space for", I ask people to guess how much completely uncompressed, 24-bit YUV color coded, HDTV (1080i) video material would take space.. (correct answer is that a one second of such video in PAL fps, 25fps, would take 0.145 gigabytes. Thus an average 2 hour movie would take pretty much exactly 1,043 gigabytes -- over one terabyte of space. And that is not any non-existing resolution, but just your everyday HDTV, just without any quality-compromising compression..)
