Hi all I'm looking for some architectural software that can design house plans from the ground up & has all the features that go along with it. Top of the range, best out there kinda thing, price doesn't matter. Cheers for any help!
AutoCAD for sure. Obviously you're planning on trying to pirate this software since you don't know sh1t about it, so Ill cut the crap and let you know that this sofware costs $3,500.00 per installation, and is nearly impossible to pirate. And they reserve the right to f*ck your life up if they do discover their software pirated on your computer. Anyways, you need at least a 4 year college program to be able to design any sort of structures..... its not as if you can open it up and design an eiffel tower. Ive taken a semesters course and I can only design wrenches and things like that.... If you want something simple easy and worthless, try pirating Chief Architect. Quick rendering and easy to build a fancy house in it.
Haha lol ty Kulith I don't pirate software, I don't believe in it & hate people that do. I am going to buy a version full version of some architectural software for my father for his birthday. He designed his current house on a friends computer & is looking to design another. Although he has not completed a college degree for architecture he has done some work on it & an advanced knowledge of physics & maths ment he was pretty capable of using the older software with some help. However I do not remember what & since then (2000) I am sure there has been many major changes to all architectural software & wanted to know what was the best for today's market & I take it AutoCad is the go?
AutoCAD is one hell of an expensive birthday present, but yea I would say that would be top of the line. But still, its an extremely hard and complicated program to use for high end stuff, its quite a waste of money if you can't take full advantage of its features... I love fidleing around with it but I still don't know half of what it can do... its amazingly powerfull. Yes, since 2000 theres been major software updates for AutoCAD (and im sure nearly every other CAD software...) Theres an AutoCAD 2008 now... I looked it up and I found out you can dl a 30 day free trial if you want to see if its what your looking for... http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/mform?id=9106363&siteID=123112
Thanks for the help. I have downloaded the trial & understand very little myself, Ill have to wait for him to try it before I buy it, otherwise it will be exactly like the lcd tv I got him last year. He still prefers to sit in the garage & watch shows on his little shitty tv out there. How annoying! Will let you know soon how it goes.
