I want to be able to split movies because most of them are dvd-9s and i guess i have to get rid of xp to do this so how do i do it?
I use XP to split movies. what's the problem? The best way to change OS is to reformat. If you want to dual boot then you should put ME or 2K on first and then XP.

No idea mate, just never had a problem with it. I know others have. It may be conflicting with other software on your system maybe?
