WHat do you people think of these? I wanna pick one up for my nephew, but want something reliable and will play most games. Not too worried about doing anything other than playing DS games....

What are you thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance for the help

Grab a M3 Real DS. Its better than R4 and its clones. It supports microSDHC and has some great other functions with ease of use.

All carts save games. There shouldn't be any trouble saving a game on any cart. Although carts tend to use different kinds of saves, but that shouldn't be a problem as the saves can always be converted. Just think of the M3 DS Real as an updated version or the R4/M3, which it is (at least of the M3). And the M3 DS Real is cheaper too.

    H5N1 is pretty bad.

    no cure apparently.

ok joke over what do you definitely need in a homebrew device?

if you don't absolutely need any special features then stability is the way to go.

    or lots of firmware updates.

personally i think the M3 real is better but have had limited experience with the R4
