What cord are you wanting to get? Why do they need the serial # and Man date? If it is Microsoft your dealing w/, tell them you took off the stickers on the bottom because you had to put in a new drive because your old drive broke. That is what I said when I was getting a power replacement cord and they just looked up my name and it was all good.
