I just bought the AnyDVD bundle (AnyDVD, CloneDVD2, CloneCD). Well anyway after purchasing the keys, I went to the download page to get my goodies. I notice there are 4 programs to download, "Virtual Clone Drive" being the 4th. There is no information that I can find about this program on the the slysoft website.

So what is this program and what does it do exactly?

A Virtual drive is exactly that a virtual-Drive...It emulates a CD/DVD rom drive on your PC so you can Mount CD/DVD images to it so you don"t have to Burn the Images to CD/DVD to access the Files in the Image....

Many Games and Movies you download off of the net are in Image Format (ISO,Bin/Cue,NRG,Ect) so instead of haveing to Burn the Images to CD-r to Install the Game or watch the Movie you Just Mount it to the Virtual-Drive and be able to install the Game/Program or Watch the Movie without haveing to waste the CD/DVD in the Process...

After installing the Program there should be an extra CD/DVD Drive in "My Computer" or you Might have to Configure the Drives useing the Program Interface...I have never used this Particular Virtual-Drive Program But most seem to run on the same Idea.....

    Cheers
