Hi. I wanna know what kind HDD should I get for server? DELL PowerEdge 1500SC and DELL PowerEdge 3000. And I wanna know whats going to HP Surestore DLT1?
And I "wanna" know what you are talking about. Your second sentence doesn't make any sense to me. As far as your first sentence, I believe that those servers are SCSI-3. Seagate Cheetah 15000 comes to mind. You need to know what kind of controllers you have.

scsi ultra-3 .. happy hunting.. they are hugely expensive these days. Any old thing on one of the ide channels will do.. but I think there is a bios limitation to something like 40 gigs on these.. They were built for large scsi arrays with dual redundancy in mind. Always possible to edit the bios drive tables if you must.
