    hi all,

i think i found the right forum to put this in, if not moderators please forgive me.

i just want to know what you all think is the best purchase for a printer that is to print, PHOTOGRAPHS

keep in mind these are important,

    1)overall price
2)are the refill cartridges cheap or can i refill them myself
    3)ease of use
    4)compatibility with xp pro

if you all know of any links for a site that answers this or you have looked into this yourself then i would greatly appreciate your comments!

I personally would recommend an Epson photo printer. I think the quality and durability of Epson printers is much better than HP. The ink cartridges in mine last quite a while, even when printing photos. I don't know if they make them for HP, but I by 3rd party Epson ink cartridges for very cheap, and the color looks great. About refilling them yourself, I think most new cartidges are made so you can't do that.

    Totally agree with djscoop,
I have an epson photo r200,Its an excellent printer and very cheap for ink even originals arent that expensive compared to other models,
The bonus for me is 6 seperate colour cartridges,So if you only need 1 only change 1.
    Hope this helps.
