What program should I use for this? I want to convert music videos. Each disc has about 30 songs and I want each song as a seperate file. I bought DVD Copy Plus and I am not sure after trying it that this is the correct program.
DVD2MPEG4= DivX. You can try this guide via ChickenMan, courtest CD-Freaks. The guide doesn't mention using DVDXCopy Plus though.... How to convert your DivX's to DVD±R: http://forum.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?s=64e122d93923c6fff81a0d440ba989dd&threadid=61142 DVD2SVCD will produce an seperate audio file in it conversion process, but you'll have to do some serious audio editing to get each song seperatly. I'm not quite sure how this is done using DVDCopy Plus, I don't a dvd burner (yet). Shoey
mjz55, i believe what you are asking is to convert a dvd to mpeg-4 so basically convert a dvd to divx?? if so, then read this guide http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/dvd2divx_anamorphic.cfm NOTE: THAT IF THE DVD IS NOT 16:9, THERE IS A LINK ON THAT PAGE TO A 4:3 GUIDE =) Now using this guide will probably have results like, one big divx file with all the music videos on it, however you can use VirtualDUB to select area of it and copy them to seperate files so basically cutting out the music videos will be very easy =)
I finally figured out how to rip the dvd to seperate files. Now is the problem converting them to mpeg1 or mpeg4 (my choice mpeg4). I tried it 3 times to at least mpeg1 and no luck.
