What programs/Software do I need

    What programs do i need to burn games. Now I'm getting a modchip tomorrow and I wanna no what u need. I have..
    DVD burner
    THe program I use for burning DVD's is...DVD X copypress I also have sonic which is another type of DVD program.

    Now there is a bunch of stuff I'm hering about Nero and ISOmaker or some shit like that. This might be in the guides you have provided but I'm just not to sure.

    You mean you want to make a DVD copy of a game, or do you want to burn the game to the xbox's hard drive?

    i have a dvd burner and a modchip i would like to backup my games to DVD+R i also have the nero program but its the earliest 1 is it still possible for me to copy the games? if so can you explain the steps to burn a dvd xbox game to dvd+r or if its possible cdr using nero or if there is ne other software out there that is easier?

    there is only a limited few games that will work on a cdr/rw

    as long as that nero will burn image files it will work

    first you need to ftp the games files from the xbox over to your pc then you need to create an xbox iso with the files and then burn as an image.

    Do u need special cable's to attach the Xbox to the pc.

    when you put in the xbox game (to backup) in your computer will you be able to get those files and convert them into an xiso and burn that xiso to a dvd rom? Is that the method for being able to play that game with youer modchip?

    No. You cant put the xbox game into your pc to back it up.

    The pc cannot recognize the disk. 2048 bit encryption and outside - in burning prevents this.

    If you want to back up your xbox games the only way is by ftping from your pc to your xbox, and transfering the files that way.

    Then you convert your data files into an iso if you so wish.

    get a ftp prog like flash, connect to xbox(xboxscene will show how)you need to transfer game files from d folder to one in pc and then convert to iso, just trying to do it in pc wont work as only xbox can read xbox games
