Dudes, whats with the fourm system? I have to uncheck everytime that i DON'T want to subscribe to each topic???? I can't find a central control to just unsubscrible to every topic i post on! "Check this box, if you want to get email notifications when new messages are added to this thread." WTH?? please tell me how to save time?? mods should spend $30 and get vbulltin or something

not to be offensive: Mods have u seen other forums? with afterdawn's forums system im guessing u want total control and no chaos, but u can still do that without loosing all the functionallity like u r now, this is just primative. take a look at the Half life 2/Steam forums. thats a tight ass forum but still very functional for teh user.
Well Mr.imabigshot, AfterDawn isnt a multi-BILLION dollar company like Steam/Halflife now is it? do u see AD /w a line of computer games? NO so quite wineing. mabey if u donated that $30 to AD they would be able to meet ur request

Why use some commercial software forum that's vulnerable to hacker attacks with it's open availability when this site is was coded from scratch by dRD(daboss).
I cannot understand why you want to make a post & then not want to hear any feed back! What the hell is with that? The point of this forum is to help people out. Unless you are just posting for the hell of it. As for the 3 min rule that is to slow down spammers. This is a top site, we all pretty much agree with how it is run. We need to have some form of control or we will get spammed to hell. This is unless you only wish to post one liners, not help people & try to spam our site! As said before, if you don't like it then do not come here. Everyone else likes it this way, why not you?# So you have to untick the box! For Christs' sake is hitting a box too difficult for you? I prefer, as most here, to have to NOT untick the box! I would be pissed off if I had to tick the box everytime in order to see the replies. Then again, I want to help people out!
@ BurningAs Stop complaining. If you don't like the site then bugger off. It takes a second to untick a box to stop getting e-mail notifications. And the 3 minute delay for newbies was implemented to stop hackers and spammers from posting s!it.
i rarely unsubscribe to anything. even with over 8000 threads subscribed the most replies i ever get in a day (in one go, say overnight) is 100 or so. i contribute a lot of replies each day and moderate on top of that and i don't find it any effort to untick the odd thing here and there so anyone can deal with the odd tickbox i think. Also, each to their own but i'd say most ppl reply to something then wait a few replies in response to that reply and (maybe) unsubscribe after that.
@BurningAs If you don't want to uncheck the box; then place afterdawn.com on your spam list and remove AD from your browser and none of us will have to deal with you again. BUT you will find that you can learn a lot around here about dealing with DVDs and such. There's a lot oif HELP to be found too.
