Hello. I am looking to buy an Xbox and then mod it but have no clue what to buy or do. I looked at the price of a promod Xbox and I find it reasonable, but I think i can mod an Xbox myself. I modded a ps2 and worked with it for a while and I want an Xbox. So what's the easiest to install but works well. Also, I found that there is a different backup procedure than a PS2 game. You have to load it onto an Xbox and then onto your comp or something, then the burning is the same? The last thing is that will I need anything extra with the Xbox after i mod it and stuff to make my copies work, like ps2 it is swap magic for no solder mods, or extra hard drive, as i hear you can put more on your xbox. Why do you need to copy your box games onto a disc why don't you just get a big hardrive and copy them to that like everypne else. Also in buying your xbox i would buy a premod so that you are sure that it will be able to be modded.
If your planning on doing your own mod install first you should buy the Xbox and then decide what chip to get. Not all chips work with all XBox's. RustyDog
DUDE IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY BUY A PRE-MOD UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE HOURS/DAYS AND PULL OUT MOST OF YOUR HAIR.
