What to get?

    Building a new computer.

    I will wait till the fall to get a dual layer burner (hopefully 12-16x). What set-up should I get to maximize my spped of ripping and writing using the freeware available. I want the fastest possible.

    RAM and Type?
    Processor?
    Hard Drive?
    DVD-Rom?
    Etc????

    Thanks for any input.

    I think you should wait until you are ready to buy, whatever anyone suggests for you now wont be right by the time you come to actually buying the stuff.
