    ok i got some type of webiste maker it wants me to put in a webiste i don't got a website i think i need a domain what is a domain? is it free? can i get 1 free? wer can i get 1 free if they are?

    A domain is like afterdawn.com or microsoft.com or cnn.com and so on.
    In owning a domain, it does require a fee, plus you will then need to purchase webspace for the domain to be hosted on.

    If you are just playing around with a website, you are best to sign up for a free account with Yahoo's Geocities or similar, and use that.
