    I need a new burner...I think...and want to know what's good.

About a year ago I got a Ben q LS 1655. It worked great for awhile and I didn't use it much. Right now I can't get it to do much of anything! If I try to burn a disk I get a write error using nero, windows media player and some other prog I tried. I took the same cd-r and put in my 6yr old laptop and burned the cd. When I put that cd which works everywhere else in my benq, it says it's empty! I tried flashing the drive, but no use. What can I do?

Benq drives are good but i would go for

    1. Pioneer drives
    2. Plextor drives

They are the best drives on the market and have a long life span and i have like 3 pioneer drives and none of them have failed me yet.
