What about TDK? I see alot of people use that brand and i was wondering if its any good, as in does it work 100% of the time?
Yes, recently, many TDKs and Verbatim made by CMC were found... (hydrogenaudio.org, and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/eac).
Yes. This was expected when CMC started co-opping with TDK. I haven't touched TDK media for some time.
No it means CMC are not good. As for my favourite brands they are Prodisc and Taiyo Yuden. I've never had a disk go bad from then. Yes occasional burning errors but not a single dying one.
What brand? Don't know, but I have started to use Verbatim DataLifePlus manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemicals (first experince with this manufacturer). But refering to Pio2001's comment about finding a Verbatim, that was manufactured by CMC ,have to be more carefulll. But for me discs manufactured my TY is the choice for me. But hard to figure out the label on them , at least for me . ps. Recently I have found that TDK's, that are sold at Anttila (Finland), are made by Taiyo Yuden. (if thsi helps)
