Mine has to be a WHAM concert. not for the music but for getting to see a little nerd get a mudhole stomped in his behind for being a prick....lol
@cincyrob...you saw what?? If the technology had been better, I think that Cream would have been the best but in 1966 or 67 (whenever it was), live rock concerts in large sports venues just sucked something aweful. I would have to say that the best concert I've ever seen was Manhattan Transfer both musically and techmologically. While they're hardly my favorite, the performance and musicianship was extraordinary.
also seen at a deep purple concert once a midget dude get his arse handed to him for pushin some dudes around, tlling them to do things that dont mount up to a hill of beans...lol those were 2 pretty comical concerts i should say the least..lmao
Rammstein in Monterrey, Mexico. Imagine flaming arrows, flaming skates, and a crap load of make up. Fire! Fire! Fire! Yeah, yeah, yeah. Du Hast!
cincyrob: That WHAM concert sounds pretty killer. Wish I could've seen that. Sorry for double posting dudes.
lmao.. yea that wham concert was wild...lol seen ted nugget here in cincy a while back long while back he had his compound bow and was shootin fire arrows. was pretty wild.
Tool - 10,000 days tour - Washington, DC. Godsmack - Godsmack IV tour - Manassas Va. Many more good ones to but these are the 2 best in the last 6 months. Wow made me just remember cincy - saw Ted Nugent probably back when Kiss was "the band" - so you know that's been awhile
KISS still is the band!!!!!!!!!! lol allways be #1 in my eyes... Gerry1 i like your sig....funny Binkie7 broght KISS up, thats what i was gonna say your sig reminds me of.
Led Zeppelin 1973 was the best show i have ever seen. but Black Sabbath 1972 was right up there they were so raw back in the day man!!! attention all: Ozz Fest will be a free show this year!!!! lets also make this a thread where you can post info/tour dates/news/websites/pictures etc. about your favorite bands. I've seen the best, and here is just a few: First concert: Sly and the family STone in Forest Hills Tennis stadium, NYC, 1969 The Rascals Janis Joplin a month before she died Credence Clearwater Revival blowing out Stepenwolf! Shea Stadium, '71 Beach Boys Lenard Skinnard Leon Russel Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention Foghat Chicago Grand Funk, Shea Stadium Jimi Hendrix, Philmore East (the album) Bangladesh Concert (George Harrison and company) Deep Purple Black Sabath Eric Clapton (3 times) by himself, with Cream and Deric and the Domino's Humble Pie Santana - Madison Square Garden Jethro Tull- twice.... Madison Square and Nassau Collosium Seals and Croft.... my high school senior year concert Stills & Nash at Carnigie Hall and Crosby walked on stage and joined them (this was when they broke up!)freaked everyone out! Edgar Winter Group blew out J.Giles in Queens College concert! Led Zeplin... Jacksonville, FLA the Rolling Stones - twice at Madison Square Garden Joe Walsh - twice the Guess Who Mountain and John Lennon..... Madison Square Garden a couple of months after George Harrison's concert there and I met him in Washington Square where he poised for me for a few pictures: John & Yoko and David Peal with some members of Elephant's Memory (his band band after the Beatles)
IHoe that Grand Funk Railroad concert at Shea Stadium is one of the most famous concert in the history of Rock n Roll wolfmanz, whos the line up for the heaven and hell Tour? Ronnie James Dio (vocals); Tony Iommi (guitar); Geezer Butler (bass); Bill Ward (drums). this is right correct ? ^^^^^^
I seen alot of concerts and I had plenty of albums... now they are on my iPod... over 4 thousand songs new and old. but I don't remember all the groups member names! I'm sorry.... but that doesn't matter to enjoy their music. I only have about 200 classic albums left out of a collection of 3,000!
I saw Johnny Winter twice ... once in a large venue in Chicago around 1973 (can't remember the name of the place) and I saw him several years later in a jazz/blues club in Boston. While it was a pity that his career had gone somewhat down the tubes, the concert in the blues club was just awesome ... booze/beer and up close and just the right volume to hear every note. It was great. Like IHoe, I haven't been to a concert in ages though. I got into a nasty accident so I can't stand for long, I have to be careful of being shoved around in a crowd and I can't sit with my head turned lol! Sort of limits things! @IHoe....we've seen a lot of the same names large and small but you blew me away with the Rascals LOL!
