Lets say you have over 100 files to convert is there any I can just select them all and paste them into an encoder to encode instead of selecting them one by one? Thanks.

As philraz says it would be nice to know what type of conversion you're doing. Quick answer though is that many encoders support what is called batch encoding. Usually you can build a project with the settings you want, save it as XYZ then build the next one. After you've built 3-4 you would load them in under the function batch encoding and hit go; go to bed and wake up 8 hours later to freshly processed video. This is a very simple explanation, once you tell more info such as the encoder you're using it will be able to be refined specifically for what you're doing.
