i got some svcd's laying around and i was wondering which program is the easiest, fastest, to convert from svcd to dvd, i want to be able to put both SVCD's files *cue/bin* to only 1 dvd disc.
The best program is authoring (= making a DVD image with it) that SVCD movie into a DVD, and burning it on a DVD-ROM, since [bold]garbage in = garbage out [/bold] and losing time converting a 480x480/576 to 720x480/576 movie (NTSC/PAL) with no gains is a waste. You need to re-encode a movie only to change system: PAL <--> NTSC. DVD Lab allows to put (S)VCD movies into a DVD, with the only care which is to give it a 48 kHz audio (SVCD is 44,1 kHz). Read http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/multiple_svcd_on_dvdr.cfm .
Thanks a lot for the info, but actually SCVD2DVD did it for me, is a nice program, and i was able to convert the svcd to dvd without a problem and it joins the files too, and it burns with your favorite program in my case dvddecrypter, it does it all for you.
