Hi I was just wondering what was the difference between a dvd-r disc and a dvd+r disc? Are any of the two better than each other or are they the same? Also I just bought a dvd burner it is a Pacific Digital 4x Dual Format DVD+RW DVD-RW Burner you can check it out here http://www.pacificdigital.com/products/4xdualdvd.asp Is this a good burner?

Well it's too late to worry about whether your burner is good or not, you already have it - enjoy it -

As to the difference between +R or -R, I suggest you search our threads for the information - there's a ton of info there - the short and sweet in the +R is a better media than -R media. -R media is more widely accepted as it worked on the older standalone players but any player in the last few years will play anything -

    cheers,

    Pete
