Whats the difference between the starview boxes???

im lookin on ebay.co.uk and i see so many different types of starview boxes, whats the difference? Some are cheaper some come with a cable, and i dont know which one to get. So what should i look for when im buying it and why. Thanks in advance.

 

there are three types of starview one i the starview 2 or the box.the others are genuine and clones.clones are knock offs of genuine starviews you won't know if it is one or not until its on your door setp.ebay is full of clone starviews so your better of getting a starview 2(the box)because there are no clones of the box hope this helps!

what is 'starview codes'

 

your codes must be correct to the providers or you won't receive channels.if you get the box you won't have to worry about codes because the box gets the codes auto once you have flashed it.
flash means putting the latest firmware on it.

firmware is software you need for your box to work

so why is there so many posts here about 'starview code'?

 

because some people got clone starviews that don't autoupdate.so if you are going to get a starview get the starview 2 (the box) because there are no clones of the starview 2

Nope all you need is V4 for a gen box.
