I may be wrong, but it seems to me there is a difference between the pioneer A05 and DVR-105. Could someone please explain this differnce to me.

Also, I have a dvd+rw burner already, I was wondering if I bought a dvd-rw burner, could I install that with my dvd+rw burner but in separate bays and have the dvd+rw burn a copy of a cd or dvd that's in the dvd-rw burner, and vice-versa?

There should be no problem going from -r/rw to +r/rw or v-v. Of course it won't copy copy-protected dvd movies though, but you can use one drive as a source to the other for most things.
