I am doing a school project that requires me to play a 3 minute clip of a movie. I would like to use several 20-30 second clips all as one little 3 minute clip. I can create the clip by using windows movie maker and just keep it in wmp format. How should I split the dvd up once I get in on my PC? Does it have to be converted to a different format? Thanks!
I'm a little confused as to what exactly your trying to do. I understand you have several clips that you want to join together to make a 3 minute film. After you have joined it all together, you want to split it again or do you just want to burn it to a DVD disc?
Guess it was a little confusing. Sorry! I want to take the movie "Meet the Parents" and take out several clips and join them together. Id like to have an intro (text) just before it starts. Now, I can either keep it on a disc for windows media player OR make it a DVD. Which ever is the easiest. I guess you could say that I need help starting from step one...
Let me get this stright. You don't have the 3 minute clip put together as yet. Correct? Your going to need a few different programs in order to do this correctly. (I'm guessing you want an "A"?) Do you already have the "Meet the Parents" DVD? If so, the first step will be to rip it to your hard drive. Do you know how to do that?
soc3558, you may need at least three software. Step1, extract the clips that you want from the DVD movie with a DVD Ripper software. Here is the guide http://www.aoamedia.com/dvd_ripper_copymode.htm . Step2, join the clips together with a video joining software http://www.aoamedia.com/join_video.htm Step3, use Nero to burn the file on a CD or a DVD.
