Dude you are starting way too many useless threads here on the Safety Valve. Cut it out or risk getting banned.

There is no meaning of life.
You live, you die, and that's it, end of story.
Whatever may or may not happen after that is anyone's guess.

Life, and the meaning of life, is exactly what you make of it.

dell: are you the stereotypical goth? you need to come to the realization that people are ****. once you can function without anyone else in your life, you can start looking for friends. one must become happy alone before one can become happy with another. :D i'm a loser, and former general outcast. but i've still created my own group of friends, mainly weirdos and rejects. how hard do you think it is on a person when people see what you're into and think you screw animals? o.0 few people can look past the cover and enjoy the story at any age...you need to look hard and long for those that can.

    weazel: i concur.

romero: i thought it was Q? 42 works, as well XD

daniel: are you an existentialist? hehehe...

    lola: i agree :D

The meaning of life is to raise happy, healthy, succesful children. I think, at least.

So what you guys are trying to tell me is there's not point of living. You live and you die. so why live when your going to die? It's not even fun. IT's painful. SO let's all just skip the live part cause we are all going to die anyway.

dellsuck, you sound just like Meursault in the existential novel The Stranger, a work of Albert Camus. according to existentialists, you are exactly right. but also, it's up to you to define your life and give it meaning, to relieve the pointlessness...make yourself immortal through the memory of generations, if you must. if you can't stand the pain of life, hurry up and off yourself and save us some resources. [bold]OR[/bold] be the man your body is growing into, toughen up, and make the most of every moment before its too late and your gone. your choice, and it's about damn time to decide.

Try some Budhism. It isn't a religion, which I oppose, but a way of life that deals with joy and suffering. In the end it boils down to removing yourself from selfishness ("my life sux") and refocusing on others ("what can I do to help someine else"). I have found through helping others that most of my problems resolve themselves. Just a thought.

from the moment you are born, you begin to die. thats the way it is and the way it will always be. each person's life has it's own meaning. you life's meaning must be to come here and whine about how sucky your life is! which in turn changes my meaning of life into having to sit here and read about how sucky your life is, which is something i dont appreciate. how dare you screw with my meaning of life!!! perhaps you should change you life's title from "perpetual complainer" into "grow up and get a job and accept the fact that you are no different than anyone else." life sucks, get over it. you say your parents hate you, well if my kids complained all the damn time i'd hate them too. now i fully understand why lions eat their young.

Good grief. I just saw his response to me, in his other thread, which is closed now. I will refrain from trying to help him, but his response did not make me angry. It only confirmed my thought that he needs help.
