When do i unplug IDE cable from xbox when it is unlocked?

    How do i know when the xbox drive is unlocked?

    unplug the ide from the DVD Drive and then when you turn on the xbox you will get an error message because your dvd drive missing...like the first 10 seconds of the error message unhook your hd ide thats when it unlocks....

    when is the logo appear between the big X and XBOX. that time the hdd is unlock. So remove IDE cable quickly.
