When will blue ray burners for your pc be available?

    It's still quite early and this technology is still developing but my preference would definitely be Pioneer over Lite On (the prices look much nicer too).

    That Pioneer Drive doesn't burn Blu-ray. It's a dvd burner/Blu-ray rom drive. It will burn regular dvd's and read Blu-ray.

    Yes, you are right! I only opened the link to have a quick look... And the words "Blu-ray Burner" are quite clear in plain English. However, upon opening up the links to the extra specs it is revealed that these drives are indeed only BD ROM's.
