Anyone want to put a guess on when we will see the last title on DVD? We saw the last VHS in 2006 the same year as the first Blu-ray. So that goes to show how long that media was still alive (if only hardly). Already some titles are OOP on DVD and only available on Blu. Though there are still plenty of titles only being released on DVD as of now.
I remember just last year, the hoverround wheel chair company was still making VHS versions of their sales video. As for the last DVD, it will probably be a long time. I say this because bluray is already more than most people care about, and even DVD is more than some people need.
