where can I get a firmware for matshita dvd-ram sw-9585

    does anybody knows where can I get the newest firmware for the hammer dvd burner matshita dvd-ram sw-9585.

    now I got another problem I already got the firmware that is compatible with my matshita dvd-ram sw-9585 but, it doesn't get installed it shows this error mesage "down load nogood, please reboot your system". do you got any suggestions?

    I did the B101 because my drive has the b100

    after I try the other one; I try the p101 but It gave me a message saying it didn't needed and update.

    Can your drive read new kinds of discs? I'm assuming you upgraded your firmware for this issue...

    yes it can, but the GQ dvd-r burns them at 8x when they are 16x.

    also the dvd burner is 16X+&-
