WinMX is also v. good - very easy GUI. I've stopped doing it, though - I feel the chilly blasts of the law breathing down my neck with every new article about prosecutions of small-time downloaders. It's rubbish, though, isn't it? I mean, I have always bought lots of music & I continue to do so. No one is losing a sale off me. If I like a download I buy up the bastard's back catalogue at MusicZone. What more do they want?

 

The sad part is I know lots of places. But if I told you, the RIAA would be all over me like flies on dung. You see the predicament me and lots of folks in here are in? Who knows if you're the RIAA police. However, here's a place where you can start:

eMusic has a good deal. Download 50 free LEGAL mp3s and then cancel if you don't want to keep the monthly service. You can download full albums. I tried it a year ago. Cancelled online without a problem.
