I am trying to find the music which plays when you configure Win XP Pro at the point where you set up your internet connection & your account name after a new installation. It stops when you click on the finish button,(green & white swirl pattern)in the lower right corner after entering your account name. Thanks in advance for your help.

all windows sounds can be found in:

    C:\WINDOWS\Media

or alternatively you can go to

control panel -> Sounds and Audio devices -> sounds tab

if you want to set the sound for a specific event.

    hope that helps

Go to your control panel and select Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices, then select "Change the sound scheme." This if for Windows XP but will follow very close to other Windows OS.

Thanks RavenLife & ScubaBud. I had actually done that before I created this thread, but was unsuccessful. Maybe its on the Win Xp installation disc so I'll go check. Will keep you posted.
