I have an external Sony DvD RW Dual Layer with Nero 7 that I'm very happy with. I don't have too many problems with burning. What I want to know is why when I burn a dvd, does whatever I'm burning, get copied into my hard drive? It gets to be a nightmare trying to find these copies to remove them to free up space. I don't create a log unless there is a problem with burning. Any help is appreciated.
it has to have a place to put a temp file for the files for the burn,i think that there should be a box you can check that it will deleate the temp files that the program uses,
If you happen to have Norton on your computer there is one more place you need to check. When you delete a movie file from your PC, it is often too big for the regular recycle bin. Norton puts them in the Norton Protected recycle bin. Unless you dump that bin they remain taking up space on your hard drive. If you do very many movies it can fill up a lot of hard drive space in a short time.
