which audio codec shud i use?

    i checked my avi file with gspt and avicodec, both say i do not have the audio codec support, what shud i download now. I have already downloaded all the codecs mentioned in the thread here. Please help!!!!!!

    And did gspot or avicodec say what audio codec u needed at all?

    No they did not, they just dont show anything in audio section like i see the codecs being used listed in the video section

    That's strange, especially with AviCodec! AviCodec usually would give you a lot more info on the codec and usually a web link, hmm, where did u get these files? and how big are they?

    got them from kazaa they are around 250 mb

    Load the video in virtualdubmod and go to the streams menu and select stream list. If you see no audio file there then you never had it.
