I am in the process of getting all of the latest revisions for my Xbox, and I wanted to make sure I am running a current bios.

I have a 1.6 that I am using the new evox bios on, but I need to figure out what the latest bios files for my 1.4 are.

Does anyone have a link to a guide? Don't worry, I know where to get them, and I may have them already.

    Actually, I found a guide. Xbox-scene has a chart at http://www.xbox-scene.com/bios_retail.html

And, btw... please understand not to post, if you don't know what you are talking about. Ever heard of an M7 or an M8?

evox makes a bios as well, the m7 and m8 series. Not that it's gunna help the guy,but before you start with the exclamations...look some things up.

I had a 1.4 and I ended up using an xecuter2 bios 4981.67. I also tried an evox bios the M8 and it was ok as well. Also you might want to tell us what kind of mod you have...whether it be a chip/softmod/TSOp...etc.

Basicly, for your 1.4 just make sure that it's not a bios for the 1.6's and you should be fine. The only thing to make sure of is the size of the bios file...make sure that you have the right size for your mod...although alot of them now a days will resize for you.
