Alright, seriously, I looked briefly and I'm still confused on which bios I'm going to need. I think I am going to order an Xecuter 3 and and a bigger hard drive.. and I'm trying to collect the stuff I'm going to need to get running.. so, basically, can anyone tell me what bios I should use with Xecuter 3 (to play new and old games) and where to get them?

the evox M8 will work fine. you can find that on xbins. if you don't know what xbins is, go to xbox-scene.com and search the tutorials or the forums here. i know i've posted how to use xbins a couple of times.

Alright, I'll look for it, but is this only good for 1.6 xbox?

Well, I don't know which version mine is, but I got it December 2003.

if you got is dec 2003, its not a 1.6
    there is a M8 for 1.0 to 1.5,
    and M8_16 bios for 1.6
they both come with the zipped package.
(the latest version is the m8plus)
I like the evox bios as, like the x2 4981, theyre customisable
    hint for xbins
    use irc
    www.mirc.com
    efnet servers
    channel #xbins
    follow instructions

Thanks a lot guys. I got it from xbins.

How do I install it though? Or flash it onto the modchip if that's what you call it.

If I could find this easily somewhere else, than forget it, unless you want to answer. I'll probably look around for it anyway.

if you use evox, just ftp the bios file into the bios folder and flash from the dash. it's very easy that way.
