firstly merry christmas i have got a sagem dbox2 and have flashed it with commando 6 its good but sometime freezes. and i will have to update the image time to time. my mate has got a starview box and says dosent need any flashing or updates. just buy, plug and play. so i went on the web and found alot more boxes and want to know what are the main differences in the boxes. is there anything one can do that another cant?? i have found all these boxes:- sagem dbox2 nokia dbox starview The Triple Dragon dbs-3000 eurovox max dreambox 7025/dm500c/dm500si replay box (not sure its the same thing) im sure there are many more boxes that i dont know about. can someone tell me which one is best at what? and i am living in rochdale n*l area. and i would like to record programs can i do that with all the boxes to pc or on the box??? thanks!! any info will be appretiated.
Cheers Shahab, dbox2 can do everything you want, just have to do a bit of digging. Commando 6 is buggy and I would recommend that you try flashing Commando 5 as it is a lot more stable. Sagem dbox 2 mate, these usualy come with the avia 600 chip set, where as the nokia comes with the 500. All the best lads and a happy new year
thanks guys!! i have tryied commando 6 but it freezes too much. i currently have commando 5, it was working fine till last nite when i lost all the channels. i restarted the box a couple time nothing happend so did another scan and found 303 transponders but only 6 channels which dont work. i think i have to flash the box again. i'll also try commando 6 again too. and is sportster better?? if someone has a sportster can i please have it?? i want to try all and see which works best!!!
