I'm picking up a DS lite soon. Want to get a card for it right away. Any suggestions? Prefer the one with the least amount of hassle.

Any place that delivers to the US? Also does the supercard one allow action reply codes like the R4?

Why R4 over Supercard DS One?

I own an R4, EZFlash V, and G6Real. I do not own and have not used a DS One so I cannot speak to it at all.

R4 is the one I recommend to beginners and people whose technical aptitude might be suspect. R4 is simple and reliable. An informal and unscientific observation leads me to believe that there are more R4s out there than anything else.

However, I primarily use my EZFlash V. It is slightly less compatible than the R4 but the EZFlash 3 -in-1 support is seamless and it was cheaper (at the time). I also chose this as my alternate card when there was a shortage of R4.

I'm not too worried about the technically stuff, I'm pretty savvy. I'm seriously thinking about the R4. All the cards seem pretty equal to me anyways. Supercard supports SDHC cards though which is kinda nice.

r4 is very good when it first comes out, but last time i heard its still only support upto 2Gb. whereas all the new ones like ds1, acekard2, dstt, edge etc.. all support over 2GB (upto 8GB i think) i suggest you read the reviews on www.gbatemp.net. the reason i suggested the ds1 and ak2 in the first place is because firmwares are release regularly and have its own forums which is very useful.

hello at the moment there is a great choice of flashcarts you can choose from , the newer flashcarts support sdhc memory so its probably a good idea to get one of those .

sdhc flashcarts in random order -

    m3ds real
    cyclods evolution
    the edge ds
    itouch ds
    supercard ds one
    dstt
    acekard 2
    and so on................

do not buy the N5DS its known to blow fuses on the ds !

    non sdhc flashcart - r4ds or m3ds simply .

great reviews for each flashcart can be found here - http://gbatemp.net/index.php?dynamic=8

ive had for family and friends r4ds , m3ds simply , m3ds real and dstt and for now all have worked as they should without any probs .

    * > R4

Any cheaper card can do the same yet more than the R4 can do. Yes the R4 can play almost all games but what DS cart can't now-a-days?

If you want to go cheap I see the DDTT card on Dealsxtreme is cheaper than the R4 yet it can outdo the R4.

R4 supporters are mainly fanboys of obsolete technology.
