I am planning to buy a divx player. Right now, I rip thru div5.1 pro codec. With so many divx codecs around, can anyone guide which is the fastest and would that be compatible with the player. Also which player is the good one ?

There is only one DivX codec (different versions of the same one but essentially still one). It's made by DivX Inc or something like that. If you use the DivX5 there is a profile specifically for Home Theater systems
