Which DVD Burner would you suggest? - see post

    I'm searching for a DVD burner one where I can change the book type (DVD ROM).

    I nned an IDE type drive NOT SATA. Does anyone have either and do you think one over the other would meet my needs?

    if you want to booktype, then go with the lite-on because it is already capable of that out of the box(no new firmware flash needed), with the pioneer you would have to flash buffalo firmware to be able to booktype.

    also i do have a litey 20X(IDE) burner and couldn't be happier with it.
