which dvd writer? HELP!

    im want to purchase a dvd writer for my pc but dont know what to get. Should i purchase dvd ram or dvd r/rw. I mostly just want to copy dvd films but most of the films I have exceed 4.7gb, does this mean i need to purchase dvd ram then. please help me with your wisdom.

    If you want to watch the movies on your home dvd player dvd ram wont do it
    try the sony dru 500a it supports all formats dvd-r dvd-rw dvd+r dvd+rw
    if you want to copy movies greater than 4.7 gb then you need to either use 2 disks or buy dvd2one to squeeze the movie to 1 disc
