Which DVD Writer to buy?

    I hope I am in the right section to ask this question.
    I have a LiteOn LDW-851S External writer which I am not too happy with.
    What would be a good brand of writer to start looking for.
    I heard Sony are good as well as Pioneer.
    has anyone got any suggestions they could put forward??

    so pioneer it is.
    actually my current optical drive is a liteon combo drive
    and actually planning to buy a lite on dvd burner. since they're the cheapest thing i can find.
