i have used folder lock previously but i dont find it very good... i m lookin out for a new good software to lock a drive features:- 1- shud be password protected 2- shud be fast and efficient 3- shud work on windows vista please help thanks
I've been using universal shield for 3 years, it's been rock solid for me. It's a simple program but has many features that are extremely useful. I mainly use it to hide folders with a password and to prevent my important files from being deleted. I use it with windows xp, but the latest version is vista compatible. I've tried other software, but some had issues when used with other programs, I have yet to run into a program that had issues with universal shield. It even does encryption of folders, but I've never use that, in my situation just hiding the folder is sufficient. http://www.everstrike.com/shield.htm
