Hi, whats the difference between the two? http://www.ecost.com/ecost/eccamera/shop/detail~dpno~965136.asp http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sony.../sem/rpsm/oid/89309/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do Is the blue suppose to be better quality than the red?
Its tough because I have used many tapes and some were cheaper than others, and the quality was the same (for me, but I'm using a dcrvx2100). So I would go for the cheaper ones just because they are sony and sony is the best in digital video.
Sony? Spare me. They add cost with little value to their tape prices by adding proprietary embedded chips (and any other trick they can think of), even if you do own a Sony camera. If you don't, stick with TDK, Fuji etc. who sell a solid product rather than an image ... Its *digital*, so provided the manufacturer meets the miniDVD specs, then they are all much of a muchness, esoteric arguments about oxides and bindings and the like aside ... Assuming that you don't expect to keep your tapes in a cupboard for 20 years without degradation of course. But hey, I don't really have a strong opinion on this.
