Not so sure.A friend of mine just moved into an estate and he says there are a few neighbours with the mmds aerials on their roofs. He was thinking of buying a box but wanted make sure it was Chxxus in the area and not Nxl.
you will find most areas that where mmds using aerials have now been converted to cable where possible sallins naas is just 2 of these areas changed over now to cable
but how are houses outside the towns who dont want `sly` connected to upc? i live in naas town n have cable but since n3 was thinkin of setin up mmds. my friend bought n set it up in co wx n its top job with all channels.
If your area is cable they aint going to just give you mmds you will have to try and get that yourself form what ever scources you can find and you will have to be in direct line of sight of the main mast to get it ie no trees or walls or houses in your way
www.satandcable.co.uk do the whole setup ie. dish, downconverter. So all you need is coax and dreambox and make sure its chorux mmds in the area. Having said that by the time you get this all in place it will likely be too late as chorux will likely be gone n3 by the middle of 2010
cable in the area is gone n3 already but as mmds uses its own dish/aerial so will they be able to go n3?
Am aware that chroux/nthell cable both gone N3. Already NTHell MMDS gone N3. Only thing left is Chorux MMDS and that will be soon gone. But if you want to buy and point an ariel at a Chorux base station you'll likely geta couple of months of TV
